Why Everyone Should Get an 80gb Video iPod

irecord.jpgThis is called iRecord. It allows you to record stuff from your TV directly to you iPod without the help of a computer. Each GB on your iPod records about 3 hours of video. Thats 240 with the largest iPod available on the market! It uses h.264 video and AAC audio to record (i think thats the same quality that iTunes has for their TV shows), the resolution is 320×240. It can also record music, for which it wil do so as a MP3. The device can also hook up with the PSP, MP3 players, USB Flash drives, and USB hard drives. It retails for $199.99.

I’m really interested in getting one, but I might get TiVo instead, if iRecord had some sort of scheduling, where you could set a specific time to record, it would be out of this world!

If you’re interested, visit their official website.
