What did Materazzi say to Zidane?

Well Zidane has said that Materazzi didnt say anything about him being a muslim or anything bad about his family.

Well thats taken from a french site. Why would Zidane rule out those two things? I find that weird. Materazzi had to say something in order to get “bulled.”

We might never know what was said.

If you ever find out please let me know coz I’m dying to know what he said!!! It had to be something really big for Zidane to get pissed off like that!

    2. Gravatar Icon 2 forzaq8 Jul 10th, 2006 at 6:55 am

i think zidane had to clear those because he feared materazzi would be attacked if people thought he did

i mean we are in the world were muslim are terroriest , and he need not to add more fuel to fire

Zidane is a hard core drinker. And his wife is Italian.

Maybe Materazzi expressed interest in his hawt wifey? :P

    4. Gravatar Icon 4 Annonymus Jul 11th, 2006 at 4:53 pm

Man what r u sayin muslims are terrorists? Ignorant people like you make me want to headbutt you in the chest..Don’t go around sayin stuff like that. Your llike Materazzi..Materazzi probably said his Sister is a prostitute or something or hes a muslim terrorist..

Whatever Materazzi said is insignificant. To me it seemed Zidane made a truly calculated move out of instinct and manhood defense. The beauty of it is too much to bear at once, but it happened. Materazzi got a dose of reality because he pissed of a World Champion that just doesn’t give a F___. Materazzi is a dirty player but his previous clips of penalties are worse than what he did to Zidane. If he would have tried one of those moves on Zidane Materazzi might have woken up in a German hospital. But Materazzi knew he was up against a champ and could not try those tactics, but not really. Instead he resorted to classic Italian behind-the-referee’s back sexual violations to irritate his opponent. Zidane showed the world at large how a real man who is threatened reacts. On the other hand Materazzi showed the world how he snaps, by performing gay acts in public and crying like a girl when the wind gusts. Materazzi’s success will be praised by Italians and wannabes no doubt, personally I don’t like to win without honor and skill. The Zidane headbutt will forever overshadow this World Cup Final, congrats Italy.

According to BBC lip readers…he said “i wish a horrible death upon you and your family” Zidane had found out the evening prior, that his mother was seriously ill. Sounds alittle obsurd, but if the BBC reports it?

    8. Gravatar Icon 8 flames master Jul 12th, 2006 at 6:20 am

zidane will allways be a champ!!!!!!!!!!!

    9. Gravatar Icon 9 awfulltruth Jul 12th, 2006 at 6:22 am

i think Zidane’s mother thing had a bit to do with it the fact that she was dead, if you are african or north african descendent like zidane mother is a very sacred thing we dont do mother jokes like the americans do, we can talk about everithing father, cousin but dont mess with momma coz you are asking for trouble if you’re fro the south of the US y’all know what im talking ’bout, right southern boys, and yes Muslims are not terrorists, the extremist fundamentalists are, like our extremist radical christians bomb abortion clinics, and form bands like the KKK, isnt it? bro, and i think football(US- soccer) is the most beautifull game is Zidanne one of my all time favourits realy great soccer masters

    10. Gravatar Icon 10 awfulltruth Jul 12th, 2006 at 6:23 am

i didnt mean dead i mean sick( Zizou’s mom)

    11. Gravatar Icon 11 awfulltruth Jul 12th, 2006 at 6:31 am

He grabbed Zidane’s shirt and Zidane said if he wanted it after the game he could have it, and Materazzi said he’d rather see his wife (whos a supermodel) topless instead.

and then he called his sister a whore twice i mean not being apologetic for Zizou but this guy was asking for it

    12. Gravatar Icon 12 Kcavman Jul 12th, 2006 at 6:52 am

Regardless of whatever was said to Zisou.. he did what he knew he should not have done.. A football legend will be forever remembered as the guy who lost the world cup for France..
But as someone above said.. France was the better team?? define better.. the penalty at the beginning of the game in which Zidane scored, was not a penalty. It seems the French team just got what was coming to them.. Italyy deserved to win that game and they did. Congratulations Italy on a 4th.
I do agree Zidane is a great player, just like Pete Rose.. but who actually remembers Pete Rose for his talents, we all remember him for gambling. Seems Zidane is in the same position.

    13. Gravatar Icon 13 Antus Jul 12th, 2006 at 8:07 am

No matter what was said, Zidane can not be labbeled as a great player, because great players win on the field, not by attacking people. Winning the World Cup would have shut Materazzi up more than head butting him. Think about it, Zidane will have to live knowing he could have won, but Materazzi will live knowing he has won.

    14. Gravatar Icon 14 Yazeed Jul 12th, 2006 at 8:21 am

      Antus,
you cant strip greatness from a player for what he has done.
even if zidane was not sent off france could have lost. they only reason france lost is cause trezeguet didnt score that penalty, thats what it came down to, all the other shooters had scored so i dont think it would matter if zidane was there or not.

    15. Gravatar Icon 15 shadow_writer Jul 12th, 2006 at 1:34 pm

      Antus,

You are wrong. Zidane is a great player who messed up the World Cup for his team and disgraced his nation, nobody disputes that. He is known to react to divers, actors and crybabies alike but rarely if ever do you see Zidane pinching nipples and intentionally out to hurt someone as Materazzi’s clips clearly display. So therefore your previous statement about “great players win on the field” is absolutely correct because that is exactly what Zidane was trying to do. I guess he did’nt like the way Materazzi pinched his nipple or what he said but the constant barrage of attacks coming from Materazzi got to him. Everyone outside Italy is talking about Zidane and not so much Italy, that just goes to show how great a player he is. He is still great player even though he left on the worst of circumstances. Congrats Italy.

    16. Gravatar Icon 16 Scott Jul 12th, 2006 at 2:27 pm

I think no less of Zidane after all this, he is and always will be a superstar of the game, but I severely dislike Materazzi for provoking the headache. Maybe that’s wrong of me? Anyway, Italy shouldn’t have even gotten past Australia in the round of 16. They only won with an extremely dubious penalty with 5 seconds left in the game after being completely dominated for the past 40 minutes.

    17. Gravatar Icon 17 crazy_4_italia Jul 12th, 2006 at 3:41 pm

What Materazzi did was part of the game!! Thats what professional players do, they talk shit!! Have you ever heard what some of the NBA players say to eajother between points, its brutal!! for Zidane to loose it like that was his fault, nothing that Materazzi said should have made him that angry. there is no excuse for that, none. anyone who says that talking shit in a sports game is a dirty thing has obviousley never stepped foot past the little leagues or underhand pitch softball.

    18. Gravatar Icon 18 Jen Jul 12th, 2006 at 4:26 pm

I know what Materazzi said, my dad told me…it was on tv, he told everyone

    19. Gravatar Icon 19 john pain Jul 12th, 2006 at 5:36 pm

who gives a damn shit…. theres more important things in life then wondering about some simple confrontation between two men… go watch a high school game and then we can all go out a titter about who was meanest or dirtiest.. right now there are wars… genocides… blatant murders…. not to mention countless fistfights and abuse cases…. and all everyone is worried about is a game…. emotions run high, esp in the World Cup… is part of sports.. not saying the trash talkin or the head butt was justified.. but its all part of the game… get over it

    20. Gravatar Icon 20 ria Jul 12th, 2006 at 9:11 pm

      Materazzi said:

“Yo, my brother works at Hair Club for me, I can get you a discount”

    21. Gravatar Icon 21 good one Jul 12th, 2006 at 9:12 pm

wow john… calm down! The reason why we are posting in this topic exactly is because it’s something we wonder about. It’s not everyday you see a headbutting in the chest by a player and it’s his last game. More important things in life =/= watching a high school game and chatting about who was the angriest. Should’ve mentioned something like Bush and Putin maybe going at it; something that will affect everyone if you’re so negative about it

    22. Gravatar Icon 22 Yazeed Jul 12th, 2006 at 9:25 pm

    23. Gravatar Icon 23 john pain Jul 12th, 2006 at 10:24 pm

yeahhhh thats the point…. the high school reference was a crazy thing called “mockery”… of how the worlds reacting…. im saying it should be something more important that were talking about… read the whole comment…and no joke its find to wonder about… hell i did too… im just saying… is it not ridiculous how much attention we give this versus all the other world’s happenings

    24. Gravatar Icon 24 delaghetto Jul 12th, 2006 at 10:37 pm

ok first of all Zidane is ownz!!.. he’s da best and will always be a legend.. Materazi will always however be a jerk!

As Zidane said.. he wont end his carrer this way unless a very seroius provocation was made.. Everyone has to agree in this..

Now my theory is that they both had an misunderstood..

We know that Zidane speaks very good spanish as he played for Real Madrid.. and Spanish and Italian are very similiar languages..

      so Materezzi could have said..

“tu mama”.. this in spanish can have 2 meanings..

      1. You do me a blowjob…
      2. Your mother!!

So materazzi could have meant no.1 but Zidane conditioned by her mom’s situation interpreted no.2 …

Hala Madrid!! Siempre el mas grande! siempre Zidane!!

I am glad Zidane headbutt this low life scum bag, I give credit where it’s due, Italy played the better game but Materazzi as a human being is useless and worthless I hope he dies a painful death!

Ruining others because your an egotisitcal maniac has no place in such a beautiful sport such as soccer!

Burn in hell Materazzi you son of a b|tch!

      TO CHALLENGE YOUR PERSPECTIVES;
i think if the ref could listen to the linesman and see the replay then take action after the “mistake” was wrong(they are not allowed to judge that way). the ref deserves to be punished. even the comentator said that ZIZOU career is destroyed. God will judge him.
i know that if the ref hadn’t picked sides he would have asked the italian what happened and given him a card too.
i say this because that ref knows ZIZOU’s reputation and knows that he would never do such a thing.
      WOULD I BE WRONG TO SAY;
we live in a shameful world where your race takes you a long way. your race tells if you are to be accepted, even when your personalty covers that, the degree to which your progress is challenged in whatever you do depends on your race.
if you say the man is a hero why bring him down verbally, because he defended himself.
      TO ADD TO SOME REASONABLE THOUGHTS;
its not about who said what and who did what. it is how the aftermath is handled and i say ZIZOU was judged biasly.
the best part of it all is that your work is better recognised and appreciated after a “mistake”.
ZIZOU’s “mistake” makes him more of a hero, more like he owned the tournament now the cup means nothing really.
People are even celebrating the fact that you can’t use stereotypes and get away with it.(it is apparent the italian said something serious) or insult someones family and get away with it.
FOOTBALL and family or religion dont mix like in the “mistake”. they have nothing to do with the other
would you disagree that if religion or family is brought to the field then there would be chaos?

Nothing Materazzi said was worthy of the dangerous response from Zidane, and the many idol worshipers who have been so quick to fawn over him. An ordinary man may have had his chest cavity crushed by such a forceful blow. Only a bum, given his stature, age, and supposed maturity, would allow himself in arguably the most important game of his life, to go out with such disgrace. Zidane has largely been vague about what the Italian said to him. Why? Because he is ashamed of his behavior given how unjustifiable it was. Forza Itali, bambini. Grazie a Dio!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His wife, Veronique, is Spanish. Four kids, three with Christian names and one with an Arab name.

Materzzi’s function on the field for that specific match: harrassing Zidane.
His mission: to bring him down.
Congratulations on a job well done and hourra for Italia!!!!!
And bravo for that fantastic penalty against Australia too….

zidane had no reason to headbut Matterazzi 2 wrongs
dont make a right. zidane should have been professional and accepted wat ever Matterazzi said. ZIDANE IS THE BABY IN THIS SITUATION. Matterazzi was the professional player because he was smart enough to get frances best player red carded out of the game. zidane could have been the one to replace trezeguet and could have tied the shootout and could have been the game winner.BUT THAT IS TO BAD BEACUSE ITALY WON IT FORZA ITALIA WERE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!:):):):)

PS:marcz you and zidane should die u fukin cunt bags ASSHOLE YOUR AN ASSHOLE

    38. Gravatar Icon 38 Randy Jul 27th, 2006 at 2:24 am

Hey Carlo, you still can’t get over Italy’s penalty over Australia…(I have a suspision you are Portuguese, the Portugues hate Italians, or should I say, can’t get over over their jealousy and envy of the Italians?) H

How convenient that you fail to mention the Materazzi penalty awarded to France’s Zidane in the Final clearly shows that there was NO contact, let me repeat, NO contact…but we are not supposed to mention that are we….NO NO NO, because it was dear old France who got the favor.

Listen all you Italy bashers, keep on bashing, because it makes Italy’s victory even sweeter.

And as for Zidane a champion….Guys like Zidane and england’s Rooney will never be champions until they lose the attitude. Yes, materazzi is a bad boy, I will admit, but Zidane sill needs to take personal responsibility…end of Story.

Congratulations to the World Chapions, ITALY!

I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding d Materazzi say to Zidane? | yazeez, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong :)
