The British sailors are back in Britain. Its Ahmedi Najad’s “gift” to the British. LOL!
The funny thing is that just before they left Iran, they were shown on Iranian TV receiving gifts, drinking tea, took pictures, and waving at the cameras. Najad would have been a great US president! His propaganda is even lamer than Saddam’s!
On another note CNN just showed footage of the sailors arriving in an air base in Britain. It showed them being greeted by their family members and such. There was also a guy sipping a pint of beer, I dont know if he was one of the sailors or not, but he was there when the sailors where united with their family members.
There has been talk of Iran abusing the sailors. Putting them into solitary confinement among other things (which breaks the Geneva Convection treaties) , but that could also be a propaganda stunt by the British. The most important thing is that they are back now, and a “crisis” has been avoided, or at least we all hope so.
Iran has said that these soldiers were in Iranian waters gathering intelligence, the British replied by saying that this is a normal tactic in modern warfare. A very vague reply, which could prove that they were in fact in Iranian waters.
