The Longest Hour in My Life

Went to Saw 3 today, review in the works, came back home, at 1.15. Sat with the guys a bit in our usual post movie banter. Jumped online to chatted with a few folks, surfed a bit, everything was fine.

I was chatting with a friend (person A), from Kuwait. They’re like its 9.30 and I should have left at 8.30. I look over at the clock on my computer, and its 1.30am my time, so its 8.30 in Kuwait. I got confused a bit, cause I was sure I got home at 1.15, how can it still be 1.30? I keep quiet, and blame it on myself, maybe I messed up or something. Or maybe something is wrong with my clock on my PC, so I check the clock on my mobile, and its 2.30. Now I am really confued, so I ask the person online again what time is it? 8.40 (add in the “confused” minutes). They are like no its 9.40, still confused I ask another person online (person B, also in Kuwait) , thinking that (person A) just woke up and might be the one who is confused :P. Person B gives me the same answer.

Now I was sure it was my fault. Then it hits me! Its Daylight Savings Time. Turns out in winter, when it hits 2 am, it goes back to 1 am. So from 1.01 am to 2.01 am its actually 2 hours! Confusing indeed, espcially that I didnt read today’s newspaper, didnt watch the news, and the last time I remembered about DST was earlier in the week.

Going to sleep now, I wanna enjoy this extra hour of sleep, cause on biological clock its 3.40 am, while its really 2.40 am. Wanasa!

Hehee thats confusing. I went through the same thing alot of times, 7dii stupid..

Btw i dont know why, but sometimes on your site i press on the comments but it doesnt take me there, also when i write a comment and press sumbit it wont do anything.. Is it just me ??

hehehe it is, and for some reason, my brain doesnt want me thinking that i am an hour ahead of the game (i cant sleep :()
what browser are you on? and do u have the same problem with other wordpress blogs?

I use internet explorer, and no it never happened to me before maybe cuz the blogs i go to arent wordpress..
