Especially for a book like this were the dialogue is very detailed and in some cases long. When you read a book you start to imagine it in your head and picture it in your minds eye. But when you see the movie you will see someone else's interpretation; you will see what they saw in their minds eye. So off course its not going to be exactly how you pictured it. There were parts of the book that were omitted from the movie but then again there were parts that were not in the book that appeared in the movie. For example, Langdon's speach at the University of Paris. But in the end it was good entertainment. Even if you havent read the book you will understand it and enjoy it. You may say it is a disappointment but it is still worth watching. Before you call it a disappointment you have to realize that it is very difficult to turn a book into a movie.
