Spiderman 3, which opened Friday in the US, has shattered the opening day record. It managed to pull in $59 million, shattering the previous record of $55.8 million held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. The movie also managed to make $45 million on overseas openings, which is also a record. In total the movie has made $104 in one day, which is very impressive. It is also expected to top Pirates of the Caribbean’s record for the opening weekend of $135.6. Interestingly Spiderman 1 (2002) was the record holder for the weekend opening prior to the second installment of Pirates of the Caribbean with $114.8 million.

other than the fact it’s Spiderman, they’ve done some excellent advertising leading up to this! Most shows were sold out in Bahrain. Another one I expect will make a huge hit is Transformers.

I can’t wait to go see it. I’m in the US now on a business trip and have nothing to do on the night so the release time is just perfect for me.
dont waste your time … ur better off downloading it later on … effects were nice .. but thats it .. 7/10
This movie is worth the wait and I think its better then the first and second one! Go see it! They did the Dark Spiderman justice I liked it!

well they released it in kuwait before the states, so you didnt gain anything by watching it in the states, other than the cut scenes i guess

yeh my rommie saw it last night, he says its too long, could have been a lot shorter, and that its not anything special, except what u said, the effects.
