Panthers 4 and 2

After loosing their first two games of the season, the team picked up their form, especially in defense and won 4 in a row, beating the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. Only two teams in the NFL have a better streak than the panthers, and thats both undefeated teams (Chicago and Indianapolis).

panthers_logo.gifJack Delhomme (Panthers Quarterback) had one of his best games of his career, throwing 365 yards and managing to magnificent touchdowns. Steve Smith, who really revived the team after he came back from injury, caught 8 passes for a total of 189 yards (thats 100 plus his number) and one touchdown. The Panthers are looking good from game to game, they need to pick up their offensive play a bit and they will be untouchable. Coach Fox has done a good job turning the team around. The Panthers are now second in the NFC South, just a game away from first place (currently New Orleans is first).

The Panthers play Cincinnati next, their next home game is against Dallas (i’m looking for tickets, but its a night time game, and its getting colder here by the day). Their next three matches are at home, and are “win-able.” If they do win, I am sure they will make it far this year (we were so close last year).

This is going to be one interesting season! Im watching it and hoping for a couple of teams to come thru and Im hoping for the niners to have a better season and for the team to grow! Im not expecting superbowl, but look at the Raiders a couple of years ago that made the superbowl and now they crap.
