We went to lunch today in a nearby restaurant/bar to watch my Carolina Panthers, only to watch them loose 20-6 against the Atlanta Falcons. They pretty much sucked, played badly, similar to the 2nd half of the AFC Championship Final last season. They had no belief at all, I think they never converted a 3rd down!
We’ll have to wait and see if they will pick up their game in the next weeks, Steve Smith should be back soon. We’re trying to get tickets to watch the Panthers in the Bank of America Stadium here. We’ll see if the team are worth it, everyone had very high expectations for them this season, hopefully we wont be disappointed. I really wanna visit the stadium but the ticket prices are crazy, cheapest thing I could find is $192 for a ticket, and its way up in the stands! Hopefully I’ll find reasonably priced tickets for a good game and be able to go to it.
As I am writing this I am watching the Colts vs. The NY Giants, which is the first match ever to feature 2 brothers playing in the quarterback position against each other. Really good game. Tomorrow its the Chargers and the Raiders which should be good. The day after its the Champs League for 2 days. Very big sports week ahead, topped with Manchester United vs. Arsenal and Chelsea vs. Liverpool next weekend. What a week!
