The other day I forgot my nano in the pocket of my jeans, put it in the washing machine, and by mistake washed my ipod. After a few hours in the sun, some googling, and some pretty wacky tactics to try and save this thing, it was officially announced dead.
Seeming that I cant live without my ipod, I seeked out a replacement right away, but couldnt find the black 8gb nano anywhere. I looked in 2 different countries 
but couldnt find a black one, so I said to myself let me order one from the apple store and engrave it with it’s gadget name.
Last night I saw it on the table, tried connecting it to itunes again, it was still dead, so I decided to pop it in the oven as a last resort, yes I know I’m crazy but hey, it was already dead. About 10 mins later, I take it out. Let it cool down for an hour or so, and connected it again, it would bootup, then close again, it did that a few times, untill finally, its alive again!
The middle button in the clickwheel needs a stronger push, and the screen seems to have some excess water, but everything else is working just fine!
I here by name thee, Eduardo! Hopefully he’s a survivor, so by the bravness shown by my nano and the suffering it had to go through, I’m naming it to after you my friend.
(Eduardo is an arsenal player who had a horrific leg break just about 2 months ago, it seemed career ending at first, but up to now he is recovering well, he is expected to take another 6-8 months, and has just started his physical therapy)
