Yes she’s an Arab, her name is Rana El Kaliouby, and she’s one of three researchers at MIT that developed this “mind reading” device. Its this device you wear, it consists of a handheld device, a tiny video camera, an earphone, and a vibrating device. It alerts you of the emotional state of people you are conversing with.
Interesting what Arabs come up with, or be a part of, when they are outside of the Arab World.
Hmmm maybe I should make the news someday, I hope it would be about something positive :), like not being arrested or something :).
