I just got off the phone with Lufthansa here in Lenden to ask them about my carry-ons to Frankfurt and then to the States. They have lowered the security threat, now people can carry a bag that cannot exceed 115 cm in total length on all dimensions. It can contain a laptop, mobile phone, and other usual electronics. Liquids are still prohibited, medicine is only allowed with a prescription. These rules apply to all people travelling out of Heathrow, not just Lufthansa flights. Flying into Heathrow, as I already said earlier, is a breeze, just remember not to carry any liquids with you and you’ll be fine.
