      .. but seriously I think that that Iran is overreacting about this issue. If they just shut up and didn’t make any statement about the movie, people -specially Americans- would never know that Iranians are originally Persians! :smile:
      Now every one knows!

      First, that movie is fiction based on a real event that happened a few thousand years ago. Second, I doubt present day Iranians or Greeks for that matter can trace back their ancestry to someone in the battle.

      yeh the event is real, 300 spartans did face thousands of Persians, and finally lost, but the movie is more like based on the comic book, not the real event, even the director has stated that the movie is historically incorrect, in the terms fight techniques, weapons (shay chithi). if u look at the comic book, u can see that they wanted the movie to look as close as the book.
