The other day, I couldnt sleep, so I surfed the channels, and found this weird show on Comedy Central. Its called Travel Sick. They send this guy around the world, and give him a list of weird, funny, degrading, dangerous, stuff to do.

Travel Sick (2001–2003) was a hybrid -travel television show which placed UK writer Grub Smith in a different region of the world in each episode. In each destination Smith was asked to complete five undesirable challenges posed by the show’s producers. If he failed a challenge, he was forced to perform something unpleasant called a “forfeit.” The more he failed the worse the “forfeit” at the end of the show became. The series aired on Bravo in the UK and on Comedy Central in the United States. from wikipedia

Some of the weird stuff he had to do:

• Romania - drink blood
• Middle America - ride in a demolition derby
• Holland - ride a windmill
• Iceland - golf on glacier
• Las Vegas - French kiss a bride
• Rome - fight a gladiator
• Turkey - deliver a letter to an underwater home
• Thailand - carry a “fridge over the River Kwai”
• Hong Kong - put cobra in pants
• Peru - get intoxicated with ayahuasca
• Japan - eat cannibal Issei Sagawa’s fingernails in sushi
• Brazil - capture poisonous spiders
• South Africa - feed a great white shark
• Papua New Guinea - being eaten by bats
• Czech Republic - play frisbee with a lion
• Mexico - trick someone into buying a fake chihuahua

The first one I watched was Holland, they made him smoke weed, then get strapped on a wind mill! They also made him swallow a $10,000 diamond, so that he could take the world’s most expensive dump (excuse my Canadian :P). Too bad the show lasted only 2 seasons!
