For $88 a month France Telecom is installing an Internet connection with a theoretical speed of 2.5 Gbps!!! (download, upload is half that), digital TV, and unlimited telephone calls.

The reality is that it will probably never exced 10 - 30Mbps; which has been available in USA for some time.

when i first arrived, when the internet was down, it took me 5 mins to open GMail!! on DSL!! my bro uses q-net cards cause dial-up via qualitynet was much faster
