I was surprised to read this article, but I have been noticing that since the summer HP has been investing lots of money into advertising their new “look.” Their product line has change its now “cooler” and better looking than the Dells. HP accounted for 17.23% of PC sales in the third quarter of this year, with Dell close by with 17.18%. Those numbers may seem close, but HP is doing a lot better in the US, which accounts to over half of their sales. HP gained 1.6% in terms of sales increase in the US market, while Dell lost 2% and Apple gained 1.5%.
I am happy to see Dell going down
I dont know why but I hate Dells.

gateway’s crash helped hp and dell….but dell lately had lot of isssues that made HP top rated….but personally I like Dell than HPs…though dell sucks on enterprise level business and dealings…
i thought enterprise dealings is a huge market for dell?
we recently took over a company and they had dell, we had to accomodate them as their investment was huge on dell and was not in perfect health….but its scehduled to be out be out of our racks and desks by mid 2007….believe me, HP is much better when it comes to enterprise business model…..dell sucks!
