Demolition work has started on Arsenal’s “old” stadium, The Home of Football or so its called. It is being developed as a residential complex. It was Arsenal’s home for 93 years, until this summer Arsenal moved to the Emirates Stadium. At least I got to see it before its gone, a shame that I didnt get to see a game in Highbury, but atleast I got to see it a few months before it was gone.

Its a sad sight to tell you the truth.
This is what will happen to it after the construction is over. It will house 711 apartments in all, of which only 18 are left (oooooh if I had the money!). It should be completed in 2010. Visit the official website for more info and pics.
