While getting ready to go out today, I realized my wallet was missing. Now I was sure I’ve seen it this morning, but I looked everywhere and it was no where to be found. I looked through my bedroom, nothing. Looked in the pants and jacket I was wearing from the night before, still nothing. So my roommate said lets go out, I’ll lend you some money, until you find your wallet, hesitatingly, I agreed.
We go out, come back, and I begin to search for my wallet again. Its similar to the one pictured above (mine is black), I rarely carry any cash, I just have my credit card, IDs, and the security card I need to get into the complex. The wallet is small, and practical to my needs. I am sure everyone has seen something like it, I only use “normal” wallets while traveling. Anyways it has this magnet which makes it “clip.” I looked practically everywhere, which made me suspect that someone took it. I’ve spent the greater part of the night, came up with nothing, started thinking of what I have to do with the bank to get my cards back, and other stuff with IDs etc.
So I finally give up. Go to the living room, open up my laptop, put it on my lap, thats when I sensed something “weird” on my lap. Turns out my damn wallet was stuck (magnetically) to the bottom of my laptop!
Funny indeed and cool wallet!
I once had a similar, though shorter, incident involving my glasses. I looked for them for about 45 minutes in the computer lab back during college only to find out eventually that I was wearing them the whole time
I got so pissed I threw them out of the window and did not wear any glasses or contacts for the next three years
Sometimes I wonder why strange things almost always tend to happen around me?!

good news is you found it! Why is it when we’re looking for something it’s always right under … something else! lol (that sentence did not make any sense.)
