Our “Shilla” decided to cook on our first fu6oor, it helped that its Saturday so we had some free time. We wanted it to be special cause its the first day of Ramadhan. The “shilla” is 5 people in total. We wanted some soup, samboosa, and some Kabsa. The group of five grew to a group of seven, basically the extra 2 people cant cook, so in exchange they offered MBC in exchange, plus to “cook” the samboosa
The word got out. Other Khaleeji’s here dont really cook. The group of seven grew to ten, so we got an extra chicken. As fu6oor became closer, then word really got out and the mini feast we planned, had to cater a group of 15 people (6 chickens in total)! People that I dont really know, nor necessarily like. It wasnt that bad, but to me atleast it was a nightmare, so we have this new pact, and its valuable advice for students abroad, DONT TELL ANYONE THAT YOU CAN COOK! ESPCIALLY IN RAMADHAN!
in need for some much deserved sleep...
