His name is Thamer Al Nafe3 and he is possibly the first Saudi Arabian male? model. 
He is a political science graduate, since there is nothing for him to do with that kind of degree in Saudi, he went into the modeling profession. Elaph did an interview with him recently. Here are some points that he mentioned in the interview:
- Modeling doesn’t interfere with my religion. Good point, if your not appearing half naked, or even worse appearing half naked with other half naked women (i am not saying that he did that)
- I am proud of my country and my religion. You go…..err….boy!
- For a while? I hid the fact that I am Saudi Arabian. Contradicts with your last point, doesn’t it?
- My? wish is that one day fashion shows will be held in Saudi. Come on dude, don’t aim that high. Lets get some damn cinemas at first (amongst a few other things). Then build up to your fashion shows.
He appeared in a music video with Madelyn Matar, which apparently “launched” his career in the middle east. He worked in Italy before that.
He doesn’t look “model material” to me. But what the heck do I know about male models. It would be interesting to hear what the girls think about this guy. He looks “normal” to me.
well i think he looks good, hot even, not with his hair pulled back like that but with the ‘3itra he looks good, and i am not being biased cuz im saudi too hehehe

ummm,, well to me he looks stupid. I am not saying that im against him modelling, but from a girls point of view, i think he looks bad. He looks like a normal person.

There was another Saudi guy who modelled a few years back - he was in a couple of Janet Jackson videos too, apparently she liked him a lot. I can’t remember much else about him.
