With the recent peace deal between the Palestinians and Palestinains (its a shame that we actually needed such a thing), this game can come in handy one day. A video game where you try to broker a peace deal between the Palestinians and Israelis.
Seems interesting, although not interesting enough to pay $20 for, which should […]

PeaceMaker…the game…
Published by February 9th, 2007 in Games, Internet, Arabs and Politics. 2 CommentsAn Arabic version of Wordpress.com (hosted blogs) just poped up. It seems like they are not affiliated with Wordpress.com, but they offer a similar service, in Arabic.
Seems like that they bundled a few plugins and themes, similar to wordpress.com blogs. They also got a support forum.
The address of the blogs set up would be xxxx.arwp.net […]

Published by January 3rd, 2007 in Kuwait, Weird, Arabs, Interesting, Funny and News. 11 CommentsI just came across this in Al Arabiya’s website.
It is said that a person representing a Kuwaiti Businessman has contacted the Ministry of Interior in Iraq, and offered to buy the rope that was used in Saddam’s hanging for whatever the cost. It is believed that the rope is currently with Moqtada Al Sadr.

Seems with this war going on these days, all what everybody cares about is when its going to end and how many Israelis die. Hizballah doesn’t announce its casualties, Israel announces how many soldiers were killed, only for Hizballah to refute that claim and announce that they have killed a lot more that what Israel […]
Arab Media Coverage On Qana+My Dream
Published by July 31st, 2006 in Media, War, Thoughts, Arabs and Politics. 3 CommentsIts funny how I was complaining how bias CNN was covering the war in Lebanon before I came back to Kuwait. After watching last night’s coverage of the “massacre” I remembered how Arab media covers a lot of different incidents.
Suicide bombers in Iraq regularly target and kill 50+ people, no massacre there. I don’t remember […]
