I have heard a lot about Burger Boutique, it opened when I was still in Kuwait but I didnt have the chance to go those days. In my second night in Kuwait a good friend invited me for dinner there. He knows I like burgers and I haven’t been there so he decided to take me there. I read a lot about on a couple of blogs, so I took the chance to go there.
I was surprised that the location is so small, they only have about a dozen tables and it took us a long time to get a table, even though we had a “wasta” as my friend knew the brother of the owner of Burger Boutique. There was nothing to do at Raya at the time we were waiting for our table, only the coffee shops were open, so we walked around chatting for about an hour before we got our table.
The menu seemed good enough, I liked the way the menu is presented. We ordered our food and it didnt take too long for it to arrive. We were 3 people, two West Coast Burgers and a Slider plus and order of fries and Japanese style onion rings (very good). The burgers were not as good as everyone told me, best burgers in Kuwait as I was told. I still think Johnny Rockets is a bit better than Burger Boutique and it will stay as my favorite Burger place in Kuwait. Burger Boutique is only a up-class version of Johnny Rockets, with less seats, a high profile location, and a much higher emphasis on decor.
I was suprised to see that the soft drinks were served as normal cans, no refill in this place :P. Its good, but not good enough in my view. I might go again, as my family have not been there and they want to try it out.
Its nice to see that local start ups are making it in new fields like restaurants, its a thing that Kuwait lacked. Most of the restaurants here are international franchises. I hope more of these start-ups pop up and be a major player in the local business here.
Overall it wasn’t the best experience, it was Wednesday night and I can understand that it would be hard to find a place, but the place is not really worth it.

yeah the food wasnt that special, i dont know why people call it the best burger place in kuwait, its small, and the food is not great, is it because its in Raya?
If you ever go there again, try their Midnight sliders. Yummy ! Ohhh and if you are a milkshake fan then try out their Maltesers milkshake… It’s worth giving it a shot .. Trust me

I am one of the people who think they do have the best burgers in town. I love the place, the atmosphere is really great, the service is very good, the menu is larger then johnny, the prices are very good, and the burgers taste better and fresher. the larger choice in burgers is more then enough and then you have the deserts hmmm just amazing. I never went there and never found a place to sit but then I never went there during peak hours.
I think they have pretty good food, and decent pricing! The cans are annoying, and there isnt much seating, but you have to go at times which arent peak times! That is the thing! But I still like the Johnny Rockets burgers!
Marzouq,
Johnny Rocket Rocks!
I went there for the first time last week. The food stinks, although the setup is quite nice! I think you’re right, if it wasn’t at Raya mall I don’t think it would’ve been noticed.
