Yazeed,
does Wordpress give you any chance of transferring your Blogger stuff .. as in html code and files .. to your Wordpress account?
Mashkoor for the heads up and thank you for any input u got..
yeah there is an improter built into wordpress that lets you import from various blog accounts, including blogger.
it will transfer your posts, but I dont think it will transfer the design or other things in ur old blog
but its definately worth it, its easy to use, very customizable, and there are a lot of plugins and widgets available that will make your blog truely unique.
Damn right yazeed…wordpress for life. It’s much more stable than blogger with more options without the hassle of importing codes from elsewhere. The only downside is that they don’y allow you to edit the templates since they’re under strict copyright regulations…
Sam,
wordpress is really stable, as long as you dont edit the files and make a mistake.
about the wordpress templates, i dont know the way it is exactly with a wordpress, my blog is on wordpress, and i can tell you that you can edit the templates as you like. maybe its not that way with the templates they offer you on wordpress.com, but there are thousands and thousands of templates out there and you are free to edit them as you like, there is a template editor builtin into wordpress itself, so you can edit the template files, save them and refresh your website all online, u dont need to upload the new files to your server or anything.
True…that’s the reason blogger isn’t so stable. It allows people to edit their templates as they wish and people make mistakes with the script on the way…resulting in loads of errors. You’re right wordpress does allow you to edit the codes…but I believe you have to have another host other than them.
You get paid for this!
Just tell me why the email address is “required” in order to comment on wordpress and I will sign up right away
its free!
oo u can put anything@anything.anything oo it works
