Arsenal Show Up Late Again + Weekend Goals

arsenalwigan1.gif

What a match! Arsenal were down 1-0 in the first half (and most of the 2nd) after a great shot by Landzaat. It was same old same old for some time, Arsenal attack, hold the ball, but at the final shot, they cant deliver. Adebayor came on at the 51st and really changed the team, he is doing really well as of late. Arsenal’s first goal came as a own goal from Wigan’s Hall. The second was a header by Rosicky. Great game, lots of drama, especially the Henry-Kirkland incident, and Lehman trying to waste time by bouncing the ball on the ad boards :P He is the only goalkeeper to get 5 yellow cards this season (this is rare for a goalkeeper) so he is automatically suspended for one match, which is the Carling Cup Final against Chelski ( in which Allumnia should be playing).

What happened between Henry and Wigan’s goalkeeper?! Do you have any idea?

The wigan keeper had been wasting time since the first half (after wigan scored) he has been doing that for most of the game, taking his time with goal kicks, the crowd started getting upset, and once Henry got the ball from behind the goal and put it on the goal line so the keeper would play it quickly, then when the goal came (80th min) Henry offered him the ball, as if to say “here, waste some more time” :P

BECKHAM THE MAN!!!!!!! HELL YES! :D

agool, i dont wanna sound like a dumbass (maybe i will) but is there any chance in hell (contract-wise and not victoria-wise) that beckham would be able to stay?

ya3ni what if by the end of the season, he becomes superman and is the sole reason they win the league or something and they were like “oh shit, what the $%^& did we do?! what were we thinking?!”… would they be able to keep him? like pay a giant fine for LA Galaxy or something?

theres always hope in my heart..

      snookie,
well i think HE WANTS to go to LA, its not like that Madrid didnt give him anyother choice. oo Cappello inga9 waiha 3adil! “He’ll never play again” and he plays him a month later, plus beckham scored! thats what a call a slap in your face! (even though the goal was clearly intended a a cross, if it was intentional, then it was a weak shot (not beckham’s style)

its nice to have hope, but let me just say that he wants to go, and he got $250 million reasons to do so :P

the gattuso’s goal was my fave for this week, really hard to put that in!
