Are Arabs Worth That Much?

Seems with this war going on these days, all what everybody cares about is when its going to end and how many Israelis die. Hizballah doesn’t announce its casualties, Israel announces how many soldiers were killed, only for Hizballah to refute that claim and announce that they have killed a lot more that what Israel announces.

Arab Media also care more about how many Israelis die than the number of Lebanese, unless its a massacre (25+ casualties). It also seems like that even the general public are kind of glad when they hear that Israel has endured casualties. Seems like 20 Lebanese getting killed in one day is not so bad when u got 2 or 3 Israelis killed on the same day. We all know that Israel has a? high valuation of its citizens, if you kill one Israeli, they will come out and kill many many more. The sad thing is that I am sensing that Arabs feel that way too.

We are cheap, they are expensive.

its not really covered that much here,
43 seems to be very little. i dont think they have the arsenal to withstand Israel’s “sophisticated” weapons.

good question, and something i’ve always wondered about.

theres the whole martyr thing which i think affects the way arabs see deaths. its almost as if anyone killed by the evil jews will go to heaven so why worry you know? including the suicide bombers….. umm isnt suicide a sin, and the murder of others too a sin? two wrongs make a right i guess.

saddly with lebanon, innocents are dieing, in a war that isnt theirs, and proclaiming them martyrs for the cause might make some sheikhs feel better, but it does little for the relatives of the dead.

there should be no glorifieing of death, cos that just makes you “cheap” . dieing for any cause is a fancy way of saying youre expendable.

43 soldiers compared to hundreds of citizens (has it reached hundreds yet? sorry i dont know for sure) is very little..
little offtopic.. it really sucks that hezbolla didnt warn leb of this.. they should have at least sent out secret msgs to allow ppl to stock up on whatever they needed just incase things got really bad.. hezbolla is fighting a war by remote control, while sitting safely underground away from the line of fire.. just not fair.. allah ysa3ed lebnan o ahalha :/

Israel overreacted to Hezbollah’s attempt at freeing innocent Lebanese political prisoners by offering an exchange which has been done in the past…all israel had to do was free a few prisoners to avoid all of this…but Israel would rather destroy a country and kill a thousand people over 3 soldiers….makes you wnder who the terrosists are right?

We won’t ever be much “expensive” until we see ourselves as such. Lord knows I hate to admit this but even us, the Arabs dont seem to care THAT much for our own casualty numbers, because we view them a such “casualties”

Oh just 20 died today, better then 30 “quote anyine you know here”
