Americans are sicker than The English…Health-wise.

There was this study that compared the frequency of illness in similar races, income, education, gender, and age between Americans and the English. The study proved that the Americans are sicker than the English. The richest Americans did not do better (health-wise) than the poorest of the English.? White, middle-aged Americans are far less healthy than the English (no matter what income they had).

Interesting. Maybe its a V for Vendetta thing, where the government controls pharmaceutical companies, and spread illnesses to the people so they will have to buy drugs from these companies. In America there are a lot of advertisements showing drugs on TV, they have a pill for everything. Almost every old American is on some kind of prescription. They are all sick. Maybe that’s the way their government wants them to be….maybe.

you’re right, they do have a pill for everything.. even gas!! shaku?!? its a natural thing! plus, all the meds they have a long list of possible side effects which they will need MORE meds to control and its an ugly cycle..

      Yazeed-

Well, I have spent so much of my life in the US as well as a good deal of time in England. I feel I can say that to some extent things are just healthier in England. The food is better- better produce, meat and poultry, veggies, more access to organic foods, more focus on holistic healing and natural medicine than the US. But on the other hand, there could be uncontrollable environmental and genetic factors involved - geography, industry etc….lots of reasons…

But still, my overall impression is that England is generally much healthier and more focused on well being, quality of life and prevention than the US is.
