A Conversation With A Friend

I met a Kuwaiti friend I haven’t seen in a few weeks. I ask him if he’s going back in the summer. This is his reply (in Arabic):

يا معود ليش ارجع

لا ماي

لا كهربا

لا وفوق هذا كله: انفلونزا الطيور

Roughly translated into:

Why should I go back, theres no water, no electricity, and on top of all that we got cases of Bird Flu.
