300: Review

300-1.jpg

300 spartan warriors take on thousands and thousands of Persians who invade Sparta. Its very graphic, very very graphic. I truly enjoyed watching it. The first “Big One” of 2007. The graphics, the sound effects, the colors, the cinematography was outstanding, I dont think there is something similar out there, but I felt the plot could have been a bit better. A must for all Gladiator fans (which is one of my faves). It didnt disappoint, its still a very good movie, the fight scenes were awesome! Its one of few movies that are actually better than the trailer. Even though its from the same creator of Sin City its nothing like it, in-fact its a lot better.

King Leonidas (Gerard Butler), Sparta’s King (pictured above), was amazing. He really made this movie. His role sends chills down your spine. Cant wait for the DVD, its a must.

It starts off a bit slow, but when the war begins, prepared to be amazed.

Though I have not seen it yet, I’ve heard the movie is a historical joke! I seriously hope that most people are educated enough to view this film as only a Hollywood entertainment artwork and not as a history lesson. There’s hardly any historical accuracy in this film at all especially the way the Persians are portrayed.

Remember…..this movie is not a historical documentary…so dont go saying it has no historical accuracy when it wasent meant to necicarly ecudate u in a certain way. The movie was purly made for the action and to tell u a small glimpse of how 300 Spartans held off a shit load of Persians.
